Session Infomation

Quantum information technology deals with electrons, photons, phonons and other quasi-particles at the quantum limit where novel physics emerges. New physics and phenomenon lay the foundation for developing high-speed, high-precision, and high security quantum information devices. To bridge the quantum physics and devices, new materials platforms accommodating the quantum particles are highly demanding and being actively investigated. This session focuses on the study of physics, materials and device applications aiming for quantum information technology up to date. Topics include, but are not limited to:
(1) Spintronic materials and devices
(2) Topological materials and systems
(3) Low-dimensional magnetics and memory devices
(4) Strongly correlated systems
