To advertise for future PIERS events. You may receive multiple call-for-papers of the future PIERS events if you have registered an account in either PIERS conferences or PIER journals. If you are not willing to be disturbed, you can select to UNSUBSCRIBE from our advertisement.

To communicate with your paper submission or PIERS participation.If you have submitted manuscripts to PIER journals or PIERS events, we will use your personal data to contact you.

To request for peer review process. Sometimes, as a suggested reviewer, your personal information may be provided by authors, colleagues, editors and etc.. We may use your personal and professional information in our database to judge whether you will be requested as a reviewer.

To update the PIERS membership or award evaluation. Information will be also submitted to PIERS Award Committee. Author who has participated PIERS events will be recorded as a PIERS member. PIERS will evaluate the personal and professional information of all members after every events. Information of qualified members will be submitted to Fellow Committees for further evaluation.
