Session Infomation

Non-Hermitian theory provides a comprehensive and rigorous framework for describing open systems and understanding their interactions with the external environment. Non-Hermitian formalism breathes new life to many areas, including photonics, acoustics, condensed matter physics, and so on. Research on the non-Hermitian systems has revealed a plethora of novel phenomena that do not have Hermitian counterparts. These intriguing physical phenomena have triggered numerous experimental efforts, such as optics, photonics, phononic systems, and electronic circuits. In this session, we gather to share recent developments and exchange ideas in non-Hermitian physics.
