He joined the National University of Singapore as a Research Scientist in 2001. He has been with the Institute of High Performance Computing, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, since 2010, where he is currently a Senior Scientist with the Electronics and Photonics Department. He was a part of the project team resposible for the Integrated Environmental Modeler software which received the President's Technology Award in 2019.
