Dr Dongchen Lan is currently a ZJU100 Professor and Principal Investigator for next-generation optoelectronics in the College of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University. Before becoming a PI, he completed his PhD under Professor Martin Green from the University of New South Wales where he also received a University Medal. His research lies in the broad field of optoelectronics, with a focus on device physics, targeting solutions to fundamental issues limiting the development of next-generation optoelectronic devices including solar cells and LEDs as well as multiscale characterisation of these devices.
