He is Research Fellow at Institute of Semiconductor, Chinese Academy of Sciences, professor of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, national high-level scientific and technological innovation leading talents. In recent years, he mainly engages in cutting-edge research on infrared and terahertz optoelectronic materials and devices, as well as infrared semiconductor photonic integration. He has made systematic innovative work in the field of quantum cascade lasers and detectors and published more than 200 papers in peer reviewed journals, given over 40 invited presentations at academic conferences, and granted more than 40 patents.
