Vaclav Havel Airport Prague is the closest
international airport to Prague, situated few kilometres west from Prague.
Main Train Station Prague, situated right in the centre of
Prague, is the place where international trains aretypically arriving in Prague.
From the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague or from the Main
Train Station Prague you can travel to the TOP HOTEL Prague either

1. To travel from the Airport to the Nadrazi Veleslavin take the BUS 119, please.
2. From the Nadrazi Veleslavin take subway line “A” (green line on the subway
map) and travel to Muzeum.
3. At the Muzeum change to subway line “C” (redline on the map) and travel to
Chodov.
4. At the Chodov change for BUS 115 and travel to the station: “Mestsky archive”
(third stop) and you will be in front of the TOP HOTEL Prague.

From the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague to the TOP HOTEL Prague: 30 km, typical

Supplement 1: Kačerov – Háje: the temporary suspension
of metro traffic

Because of the reconstruction of the trackwork, starting on
Saturday the 4th July 2015 (the commencement of the operation) and lasting until
Thursday the 16th July 2015 (the end of the operation), a temporary suspension
of the operation of the metro “C” line will occur in both directions in the
Kačerov – Háje section.
A substitute bus service
The Jižní Město – Háje – Opatov – Chodov – Roztyly – Kačerov
route (in the case of certain connections only the Háje – Kačerov route) will
be served during the day by substitute XC buses. In the direction to Kačerov
the service on this line will be reinforced by the inclusion of XC1 buses that
will not serve the Roztyly stop, and during work day morning rush hours also
by XC2 buses that will be in operation on the Háje – Opatov – Chodov – Budějovická
route (in this direction only) and that will not serve the Roztyly and the Kačerov
stops.
Information Measures
In connection with the planned suspension of the operation
of the metro C line, the Prague Public Transit Company has implemented the following
information measures on behalf of the passengers:
Information leaflets of several types will be issued in a total
number of cca. 25,000 copies. These will be available in wire racks at metro
stations and also in surface transport vehicles and in the information showcases
at metro stations.
Starting on Saturday the 4th July 2015 and lasting until Wednesday
the 8th July 2015 (at the weekend between cca. 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and on
weekdays between cca. 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.), approximately 10 members of
the Information Staff wearing reflective vests will be deployed adjacent to
the temporarily closed metro stations and in their immediate vicinity, who will
be prepared to advise passengers on-site (not only in Czech but also in English)
regarding the currently functioning transport links. The Information Staff will
also be provided with the already mentioned information leaflets for passengers.
At each end of the excluded section (Kačerov, Háje) Information Staff will be
available to passengers during the time periods defined above throughout the
entire period of the suspension of the operation, i.e. until the 16th July 2015.
Starting on Monday the 29th June 2015 information posters on
stands will appear in metro stations that will provide basic information about
the upcoming suspension of operation and these will also be available for passengers
during the actual period of the suspension. From the 1st July 2015 the upcoming
suspension of operation will be publicized by announcements at the metro stations
and they will also be provided during the actual period of the suspension.
Cca. 50 information panels comprising a schematic drawing and
basic textual information in Czech and in English will be prepared for providing
information in regard to specific destinations.
