PIERS2019 Rome Focus/Special Sessions
5_FocusSession.SC5: Atmospheric Remote Sensing and Propagation 2
Organized by Prof. Frank Silvio Marzano (Sapienza University of Rome) and Dr. Domenico Cimini (CNR-IMAA --- Potenza)

Session's Information:
This special session covers the broad topic of Atmospheric Remote Sensing and Propagation. Our aim is to bring together leading frontier researchers in the field of remote sensing of atmospheric parameters from ground-based and satellite platforms as well as in the field of the wave propagation for terrestrial and Earth-to-space links. Modeling, retrieval and experimental aspects in the microwave and optical spectrum will be addressed, trying to put in evidence both the methodological approaches and the application issues.
Part IIA: Spaceborne remote sensing of the Earth atmosphere
Part IIB: Multisensor tropospheric observations and ionospheric effects
