3_FocusSession.SC3.SC5: Advanced Optical Sensing and Imaging for Label-free Biodetection
Organized by Prof. Yihui Wu (Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Dr. Natan T. Shaked (Tel-Aviv University)
Session's Information:
Single molecule and single cell optics has contributed to our understanding of a broad range of fundamental processes in physics, chemistry, and biology from label-free observation of the interaction periods . Many attempts have been made to find all optical alternatives to fluorescence detection for protein and cell analysis. This session will cover recent advances of developments coming from nanophotonics, the new way of optical coupling, photothermal, Raman scattering, extinction, stimulated emission detections and any other ultrasensitive and selective methodologys. The microfluidic biosample preparationscan be also included.
