SC1: Soft Magnetic Wires and Giant Magnetoimpedance Effect for High Sensitive Magnetic Sensors and Non-destructive Control

Session's Information:

Over the last decade, extremely soft magnetic materials presenting giant magnetoimpedance effect have gained special relevance both for sensor and metamaterials applications and for basic research in electrodynamics and magnetism. This session is focuses on the physics of magnetic materials presenting giant magnetoimpedance effect and on design of highly sensitive magnetic devices and will cover also the development in the field of wireless non-destructive stress control and monitoring.
