Organized by Prof. Fangzheng Zhang (Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) and Dr. Jianqiang Li (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications)
 
Session's Information:
Photonics-based signal sources have attracted great attentions because of their superior performance and unique applications. While photonics-based signal sources are progressing to achieve higher performance, they may stimulate various novel applications. This session focuses on the recent progress in photonics-based signal sources and their applications. Topics of this session include
1. Optoelectronic oscillator (OEO)
2. Mode locked lasers (MLL)
3. Optical frequency comb
4. Laser injection and its application
5. THz wave generation and application
6. Photonics-based waveform generation
7. Characterization and measurement of optical/microwave signals
8. Other related nevel schemes and applications
