SC2: Theory and Applications of Anisotropic and Bianisotropic Metamaterials 1

Organized by Prof. Liang Peng (Hangzhou Dianzi University) and Prof. Yuntian Chen (Huazhong University of Science and Technology)

Session's Information:

Metamaterial, which is a hot topic in fields like electromagnetics, optics, acoustics and thermotics, has attracted lots of people's attension. The beautiful metamaterial provides possibility to achieve various innovative applications, typically like negative refraction, hyper-focusing, invisibility, wave-front control, and the recently topological phenomena. In most of the cases, anisotropy or bianisotropy would play an important role in pursuiting novel applications. Here, the scope of this session includes the theory and applications of metamaterials with anisotropy and/or bianisotropy. As well, works that report the fabrication techniques in achieving such a property are also welcome.
