PIERS2016 Shanghai Focus/Special Sessions
Ultra-thin Metal-dielectric Structured Surfaces and Thin Films for Antireflection, Light Trapping, and Perfect Absorption
Organized by Prof. Junpeng Guo (University of Alabama in Huntsville)
Session's Information:
Deep subwavelength metal/dielectric nanostructure surfaces and thin films can be designed and fabricated for functions of light trapping, perfect absorption, and anti-reflection coatings. This session of the meeting solicits papers on the topics of manipulating electromagnetic optical radiations with subwavelength scale 1D or 2D structured metal-dielectric surfaces in the frequency range from optical (UV, visible, and IR) to THz and microwaves.

Invited Speakers:

Prof. Liangyao Chen, Fudan University
Prof. Qing Huo Liu, Duke University
Prof. Greg Sun, University of Massachusetts at Boston
Prof. Ali Abidi, Georgia Institute of Technology
