MS-2: BRICS Mini-symposium on Nonlinear Photonics and Photonic Assisted Technologies
Organized by Prof. Alexander. P. Alodjants (Saint Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics) and Dr. Yikun Liu (Sun Yat-sen University)
Session's Information:
The aim of this Workshop is to bring together leading specialists and young scientists working on various aspects of photonics, biophotonics, quantum information and optical communication, photonic assisted technology and application of new non-linear materials, and discuss the most recent developments in these area. One of the objectives of this meeting is to discuss problems for creation a full scale international cooperation of the scientists from BRICS countries and abroad in the multidisciplinary subjects of Photonics, Material Science, Quantum Optical Information Science and Nanotechnology.

Topics to be considered
1. Nonlinear Photonics: Foundations and Applications;
2. Nano- and Femto-photonics; Advanced Photonic Technologies;
3. Photonic Assisted Quantum Information Technologies;
4. Physics of Terahertz Radiation: Generation and Future Applications;
5. Novel imaging technique beyond conventional limit.
