|This session brings together researchers from the electromagnetics, optics/photonics and applied mathematics communities. The scope is broad and covers all aspects of theory and simulation in photonics including, but not limited to, metamaterials, plasmonics, near-field optics, nonlinear phenomena, photonic crystals, silicon photonics.|
The emphasis is on analysis and simulation, but an experimental component can and should be included if it goes hand in hand with the theory.
New ideas in analytical and computational methods are particularly welcome, even if they are in their initial stages of development.
