Biography

Dr. XIONG Jiahao is a researcher specializing in single-pixel imaging (SPI) systems, with a focus on innovative illumination patterns and advanced single-pixel detectors. Currently affiliated with the University of Macau, where they earned their PhD, Dr. XIONG has made significant contributions to the field. Their work includes proposing an adaptive intensity illumination SPI method for imaging scenes with specular surfaces, enabling efficient reconstruction through dual-series measurements without additional optical components. They also introduced an algorithm-dependent SPI encryption technique for optical images, allowing diverse reconstructed outputs based on different SPI algorithms. Additionally, Dr. XIONG developed a double-layer integrated perovskite single-pixel detector (DIP-SPD), capable of reconstructing overlapping dual-color images in a single measurement, even in challenging environments with scattering media or strong background noise. Their research advances the capabilities of SPI systems, paving the way for applications in complex imaging scenarios.
