Biography

Kola Thirupathaiah, Senior Member, IEEE, completed his master’s in fiber optics and optical communications at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), India 2004. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) in Uttarakhand, India 2016. Presently, he serves as an associate professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Koneru Lakshmaiah Educational Foundation in Hyderabad. Dr. Thirupathaiah actively engages in various technical activities as the IEEE student branch councilor, fostering a vibrant learning environment. He also maintains a collaborative partnership with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Abu Dhabi University, Abu Dhabi. His contributions extend beyond academia; Dr. Thirupathaiah is an esteemed member of the IEEE Photonic Society and the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTTS). His research interests span several dynamic fields, including nanophotonic devices, graphene plasmonics, radio frequency integrated circuits, terahertz frequency integrated circuits, and advanced tunable materials at THz frequencies.
